What is the VideoValve?
The VideoValve is an online music video channel that generates a personalized playlist that you can fine-tune to your taste. The VideoValve is pretty smart and will get smarter the more you use it.

How does the VideoValve learn about what I like?
As you interact with the VideoValve by rating and playing videos in your channel, adding artists to your channel, and in general just using the service like you would anyway, the VideoValve will learn about what artists and music videos you like and dislike, and will adjust to your tastes.

Why don't I see the artist's videography when I add them to my VideoValve?
When you add an artist to your VideoValve, your channel will be updated with music videos by that artist and similar artists that you might like. To view an artist's videography on the VideoValve, just click on the artist name. You can also click on the music video director's name to view all of the music videos that a music video director has done.

What are Tags and what do they do?
Tags are like keywords or labels that you add to a music video. You can tag a music video with phrases like "Pool Party," "20 Inch Rims," and "Advertising." While you're watching a music video, you can click on any tag to see all music videos that have been tagged in the same way.

Why do I need an account?
You don't! But creating an account will allow you to access your VideoValve from any PC or Mac. We respect your privacy and we'll never send you unwanted email or share your email with another company without your consent--ever! (See our Privacy Policy for more details.)
